Terms of Service

1. What Zovwy is

Zovwy lets you create and deliver digital greeting cards — individually or signed by a group — with optional AI-assisted writing and translation. Cards can be delivered by email through Zovwy or shared by you using a card link. We add, change, and retire occasions, templates, and features as the service evolves.

2. Your account

You can use parts of Zovwy without an account. Some features require signing in with a valid email address that you control. You're responsible for activity that happens through your sign-in. You must be at least 13 years old to use Zovwy, and if you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Free tier, plans, and billing

Zovwy offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current plans, prices, and limits are shown at zovwy.com/pricing and at checkout before you pay.

Paid subscriptions, when purchased, are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you can keep using the free tier afterwards. Cancellations and refunds — including our first-payment guarantee — are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy (zovwy.com/refund-policy), which is part of these terms.

Usage limits (such as cards per month and signers per card) apply per plan as described at zovwy.com/pricing. We may enforce limits and take reasonable steps to prevent abuse of the service.

4. Your content

Your card messages, names you enter, and signatures added by you or your group's signers are your content. You own it. So that Zovwy can work, you give us permission to host, store, display, translate, and deliver your content to the people you direct it to — that's the whole purpose of the permission, and we don't use your card content for anything else.

You're responsible for what you and your invited signers put in a card. Don't use Zovwy to send anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that violates someone else's rights. Don't impersonate others. Don't use Zovwy to send unsolicited bulk messages — greeting cards are for people you actually know.

Group cards: when you turn on group signing, people with your signing link can add their message to the card, and everyone who can view the finished card will see all its signatures. The card's creator chooses whether Zovwy emails the card or gives them a link to share themselves.

5. AI-assisted writing

Zovwy's AI writer (powered by Claude) can draft or translate messages for you. Drafts are suggestions: review them before sending, edit them freely, and treat the final message as yours — because it is. AI output can be imperfect, including in translation; you choose what your card says.

6. Card links and delivery

Cards are available at long, unguessable links. Card links don't expire. Anyone who has a card's link can view that card, so share links with the people you want to see them. Email delivery depends on factors outside our control (like recipients' spam filters); if a delivery fails, your dashboard will show it so you can correct the address or share the card's link directly. Cards can't be edited or recalled after they're sent.

7. What's ours

The Zovwy service — including our software, design, occasion artwork, templates, and brand — belongs to Zovwy and is protected by law. We give you a personal right to use the service under these terms; we're not giving you ownership of any of it. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them without obligation to you.

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or probe its security; no scraping or bulk-collecting content; no circumventing plan limits or anti-abuse measures; no using Zovwy to distribute malware or spam. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or harms the service or other users, and we may remove content that violates section 4.

9. Ending things

You can stop using Zovwy at any time, and you can cancel a paid plan as described in section 3. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like 4's permissions for already-delivered cards, 7, 10, and 11) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and limits

Zovwy is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it beautiful and reliable, but we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of $20 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If we have a disagreement, contact us first at cards@zovwy.com — most things can be sorted out with an email. Otherwise, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you and Zovwy consent to their jurisdiction. You can always bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Zovwy evolves. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect. Using Zovwy after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
